2018 PRE-SEASON IS UNDERWAY

Preparations for the 2018 Cairns District Rugby League season are underway with players turning out in good numbers at training.
A Grade will again be coached by club stalwart Robbie Swain who will be eager to go deeper into the finals than the 2017 campaign and help to end a 5-year premiership drought for the club. Armed with handy new recruits in Jordan Biondi-Odo (Northern Pride and Innisfail), and Patrick Lewis (Kangaroos), the season will be one for current players such as Broski Emery-Hunia and Corey Child to stamp their authority on the local competition. Swain will again be assisted by Ian Horsfall, with the mecurial Quinten 'Q-Man' McIntosh returning as Manager.
Atul chowdhury returns as Reserve grade coach keen to avenge last year's Grand Final loss to Yarrabah, whilst Anthony Satrick will take the reins of the Under 20's side.
