BROTHERS OPEN ACCOUNT WITH VICTORY

Brothers have opened the 2018 season with a strong 54-32 victory over Mossman Sharks at Mossman Showground on Saturday night.
Threatening to mount a cricket-score, the Brethren let the Sharks in for three consolation trues late in the piece, but in all dominated from the opening whistle as they crossed for 10 tries. New recruits Jonico Hardwick (3) and Patrick Lewis (2) combined for 5 tries in an impressive attacking display, but the ease in which the Sharks crossed for their 6 tries will cause come concern for Coach Robbie Swain.
The fish-eaters next week host Atherton in their first home game of the season.
